This is yet another story about Ballerina Farm. Well, actually it’s not. It’s about tradwives in general, it’s just that the Neelemans have intentionally or unintentionally subjected themselves to scrutiny. I’ve been trying to tackle this phenomenon for probably about four years now, but based on my published articles you would never know it. There’s just too much to cover in one article. And to be completely frank, even just keeping this focused on just Hannah Neeleman and her April interview still covers a lot of deeply troubling material.

At some point I do hope to get into why tradwives are so often Mormon, the obsession with purity, the racist overtones and undertones, the cultish obsession with keeping children uneducated and away from doctors and everything else deeply weird and problematic about the movement. But for now, let’s just focus on the end-stage capitalism of it all.

Hannah is a Julliard trained ballerina and clearly a very driven and smart woman. She is married to a billionaire.
