I’ve still got BernieBros trying to dox me and literally all I did was support Hillary. They’ve angered me to the point that every weekday I’ll share some just awful vote, or speech, or action Sanders has taken in the past which is either racist or deeply hypocritical. In 2016 he couldn’t win because he just didn’t have the experience and the moment he hit the general he would have been bombarded by complaints about his, “socialism,” but in 2020 there’s not even a ghost of a chance for him.

And yeah, part of that is because of his record or lack thereof, part of it is because now some of his writing and speeches are circulating a bit more, but probably the biggest reason he can’t win is the BernieBros. The idea that they’d kick you out just because you voted the Democratic ticket in the general is cultish. And you can’t build consensus by demanding that everyone close their ears and do as they’re told.

I’m actually quite concerned about 2020 because there’s a good chance we’ll have a properly contested convention. I know Sanders thinks he can win in that situation but he really can’t and whoever does will go in with less support than HRC had in 2016. She won the general with an absurd number of votes, but 1. there’s no one else who can do that and 2. she still lost the election. These Berniebros are going to kneecap the Democratic nominee with all this nonsense. And they just don’t want to hear it. I’ve got friends who were actually attacked by them, but these bros have tried to justify that violence to me by saying my friends deserved it for not being obedient.
