I hate when NTs are like, "Do you want to [do thing]," when what they really mean is, "please [do thing.]" I had a supervisor do that to me several times and the first several times I told him that, no, actually I didn't want to [do thing] because he hadn't explained why he wanted it done that way. Now I know that's his ridiculous and cicuitous means of giving an order combined with his complite inability to explain himself. But unfortunately, because each time I ended up staring at him perplexed, I'm pretty sure he now thinks I hate him.

Although, to be fair, I kinda do. Seriously, NTs just say what you mean. Use your words.
